I recently completed a two-month marine biology internship with See You Diving in Tenerife, which proved to be an invaluable experience. Under the guidance of Alice and Beltran, I was immersed in a supportive and highly professional environment that allowed me to grow as a diver and as a researcher. I also achieved milestones by obtaining both my Open Water and Advanced Open Water diving certifications, and 43 very nice dives which have sparked my passion for the marine environment.
During the initial phase of the internship, I earned my Open Water certification with Beltran. His calm and methodical approach to instruction ensured that I developed the foundational skills and confidence necessary for safe and effective diving. The quality of the equipment and the emphasis on safety protocols further reflected See You Diving’s high standards of professionalism.
Over the course of the internship, I had the opportunity to collect field data for my thesis, with Alice providing support in both practical and theoretical aspects of marine biology. She was always approachable and invested in helping me deepen my understanding of marine ecosystems. The combination of fieldwork, theory, and a very pleasant working atmosphere made this internship a formative part of the internship. As my time at See You Diving came to an end, I found myself genuinely sad to leave. The experience far exceeded my expectations, and I am so grateful for everything I learned and the wonderful people I met.
